The Lindab Rainline round downpipe is the standard drainage pipe used with both the Lindab half round and Lindab rectangularsteel guttering systems. Manufactured from the same hot dip galvanised steel with polyester powder coated finish as the gutter. Available in over 10 colours to match the gutter system.
At Gutters.co.uk we stock the complete Lindab round downpipe range including pipe lengths, clips, shoes, bends, and all fittings for fast UK delivery.
Lindab steel downpipe is stronger and more rigid than standard 68mm PVC downpipe from FloPlast, Osma, or Marshall Tufflex. It will not flex, crack, or become brittle over time. The powder coated finish provides a premium appearance. The two systems are not compatible — always use Lindab downpipe with Lindab guttering. Use a pipe adaptor if connecting to a different system.
Lindab Round Downpipe FAQ
Does the downpipe fit both Lindab gutter profiles? Yes. The same round downpipe is used with both half round and rectangular Lindab guttering.
What colours does it come in? Over 10 colours to match the Lindab gutter system including black, anthracite grey, white, brown, silver metallic, and copper metallic.
How do I connect to underground drainage? Use a rainwater adaptor to connect to standard 110mm underground drainage pipe.
How far apart should clips be? Maximum 1.8m apart. Always fit a clip within 150mm of any bend, branch, or fitting.
Can I use Lindab downpipe with PVC guttering? Not recommended. Lindab downpipe is a different system with its own fitting connections. The powder coated steel finish would also look mismatched against smooth PVC guttering. Use a pipe adaptor if you must connect the two.
Is it suitable for coastal areas? Standard galvanised steel may corrode in severe coastal environments. For properties within 1km of the coast, aluminium downpipe is the recommended metal choice.
