The Osma 110mm downpipe is the large bore drainage pipe used with the Osma SuperLine 125mm and Osma RoofLine 150mm commercial and industrial PVC guttering systems. Designed to handle the high water volumes generated by large roof areas, the 110mm downpipe connects directly to standard 110mm underground drainage pipe without needing an adaptor. Available in black and grey.
At Gutters.co.uk we stock the complete Osma 110mm downpipe range including pipe lengths, clips, shoes, bends, branches, and all fittings for fast UK delivery.
Osma 110mm Downpipe Components
110mm Downpipe Lengths available in 2.75m and 4m lengths. 110mm diameter circular profile. Available in black and grey.
Downpipe Clips heavy duty wall fixing clips to secure the downpipe to the building. Fix at maximum 1.8m intervals. Use appropriate masonry fixings for the weight of the pipe when full of water.
Pipe Shoes fitted at the bottom of the downpipe to direct water away from the wall and into the drain.
Offset Bends used in pairs to create a swan neck where needed.
92.5 Degree Bends used where the downpipe needs to change direction at the base of the wall to connect to underground drainage.
Pipe Branches allow two downpipes to merge into one, reducing the number of underground connections.
Pipe Connectors used to join two lengths of downpipe together in a straight run.
The 110mm downpipe handles significantly more water than the 68mm RoundLine downpipe. It is required for SuperLine and RoofLine systems because those gutters collect far more rainwater from larger roof areas. Using a 68mm downpipe on a SuperLine or RoofLine system would create a bottleneck and cause the gutter to overflow. The 110mm pipe also has the advantage of connecting directly to standard 110mm underground drainage without needing an adaptor.
Does 110mm downpipe connect to underground drainage? Yes, directly. Standard UK underground drainage pipe is 110mm, so the Osma 110mm downpipe connects straight into the drainage system without needing a rainwater adaptor.
How far apart should 110mm downpipe clips be? Maximum 1.8m apart. Always fit a clip within 150mm of any bend, branch, or fitting. Use heavy duty fixings as the pipe is heavier than standard 68mm when full of water.
What colours does the 110mm downpipe come in? Black and grey.
Is 110mm downpipe the same as soil pipe? They are the same diameter but not the same product. Soil pipe is designed for waste water and has different joint specifications. Osma 110mm rainwater downpipe is designed specifically for rainwater drainage from guttering systems. Do not use soil pipe fittings on rainwater downpipes or vice versa without checking compatibility.
