You can return any items for a full refund (excluding any carriage charges) within 28 days of your purchase - the only exception being specially manufactured items such as fabricated gutter angles or profiles which cannot be returned. All returned items must be unused and in saleable condition. You should include a copy of your original purchase invoice with any goods that you return.

Please note that you are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted items. If you are unsure of how to go about arranging a carrier please let us know so that and we can assist you with this, although you should be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any carrier losses or damages prior to the goods being checked in at our warehouse.

Once the goods have been checked back into our warehouse we will arrange for the credit/debit card that you used for your original purchase to be refunded. Please allow fourteen days for the refund to be processed. Any items that have been ordered specially are excluded from this guarantee, as are any goods that are delivered ex-works such as sewage treatment plants or rainwater harvesting systems.

Our Returns Policy For Cast Iron Products From Hargreaves Foundry Products

If you wish to return any of our Cast Iron products, then please contact us as soon as possible. We can then liaise with the manufacturer and issue a returns form which will need to be returned to Hargreaves alongside the products. Our cast iron products come direct from Hargreaves Foundry (HF) in Halifax so returns will need to go directly back to them.

All return requests must be notified within 90 days of the goods being dispatched from HF and all damaged items must be notified within 24 hours of receipt of goods. All items must be returned in a saleable condition. Once agreed, the goods must be returned within 14 days from the date stated on the Return Form.

Please note that any bespoke items or specially painted RAL coloured items or Mech 416 Soil System pipes are non-returnable. Please be aware that all returns for Cast Iron Gutters and Soil & Drainage will incur a re-stocking charge of between 25% & 30% for exact details please view our Hargreaves returns policy.

The % charged is based on the net selling price of the original goods - this charge is unfortunately out of our control as it is levied on us by the manufacturer.
